Helping You Reach New People and Cultivate Spiritual Renewal in Your Church
The Southeast District is proud to bring you a workshop on spiritual vitality and church growth. The workshop will be held on Saturday, May 3, at Christ UMC in Rochester (400 Fifth Ave. SW) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (registration at 8:30 a.m.). The workshop will be lead by Royal Speidel from the General Board of Development of the UMC. This experience is open to clergy and lay people to help develop spiritual vitality in your personal life and within the life of your congregation. The workshop concludes with a section on outreach with the FRAN approach to connecting your church to other people.
Cost of the workshop is $20 per person. The price includes lunch and coffee break. Deadline for Registration is April 25. How to Create a Fire-Lighting Congregation How can your church be a place where Christ changes lives? Different aspects of vital congregations are explored.
How to Bring Fire into Someone Else’s Life Explore three reasons why we need to share Christ with others and concludes with a plan for inviting others to your church.
About the Speaker Royal Speidel serves as The Distinguished Evangelist in Residence at the General Board of Discipleship. Royal has forty years of pastoral experience with big city, suburban, small town and country churches. He knows about receiving 150 new members in a year and also none. Speidel has a passion to bring people to Jesus Christ and rich discipleship.
